ELIZABETH ZELVIN, Author of Mystery and Historical Fiction

Welcome to Elizabeth Zelvin's author website. Liz is the author of two long-running series, the Bruce Kohler Mysteries and the Mendoza Family Saga. She also writes the Emerald Love urban fantasy mysteries. Her novels and short stories take the reader from contemporary New York to Ottoman Istanbul through the eyes of complex and endearing characters as varied as Bruce, the sardonic recovering alcoholic with more heart than he admits, and Rachel, the Jewish personal shopper to the ladies of the Sultan's harem. Liz has edited two crime fiction anthologies and authored two books of poetry with a third coming soon. New e-editions of I Am the Daughter and Gifts and Secrets: Poems of the Therapeutic Relationship are available now.

Murder, Neat: A SleuthSayers Anthology, Eds. Michael Bracken & Barb Goffman, which includes my short story, "A Friendly Glass," has won the Derringer Award for Best Anthology and is a finalist for the Anthony Award for Best Anthology.
